TIMMYBedford & Biggleswade

Meet Timmy, a stunning, adorable and loving tabby & white male who is 9 years old. Timmy has a wonderful nature, and he loves people he adores being fussed and cuddled and will very happily roll over (just like in his video) for his tummy to be rubbed. Timmy is a very affectionate boy. He is a perfect cat for someone looking for a gentle natured pet who is always glad to see you. He has the potential once settled to be a wonderful companion cat.

Timmy has come to us as he was very unhappy in a multi cat household and after extensive work to settle him into the home (including a behavioural analysis by an animal psychologist) his owner made the very hard decision to give him to us to re-home as it was in his best interests.

When Timmy is unhappy he can develop a slight urinary issue, however since arriving in our care he has no issues and there is no reason why he should in the right home. To ensure Timmy is happy we feel he should be homed as an only pet and no very young children, his new home will also need to be willing to have at least 2 covered litter trays available to him (upstairs & downstairs), as holding urine can trigger these problems so it is important he has somewhere to go if he is reluctant to go out.

His new home will also need to have a Feliway diffuser to help settle him in initially. Timmy would need a home that would be happy for him to remain indoors should he wish to, and he should always have free access back inside if he does go out (he should not have to wait for doors to be opened for him) in case something scares him.

If Timmy has a recurrence of urinary problems after being adopted Cats Protection would be willing to assist with veterinary costs relating to urinary problems as this will be excluded from any pet insurance.
