PURDYBedford & Biggleswade

Hi, meet the lovely Purdy

She is a beautiful black and white girl, approx. 4 years old. We don't know much about Purdy as she came into our care as she was living as a stray. She is definitely enjoying having her home comforts again and loves snuggling in her fleecy blanket.

She enjoys fuss and attention and whilst she is not currently keen on being picked up, she will definitely be a lap cat as she is straight on your knee at any opportunity!

She does not seem over keen on other cats, so we are advising she would be best as an only cat and with no dogs. She would be ok in a family with slightly older children, we suggest 8+ years old.

Purdy has been to see the vet (she did not enjoy it!) and she been given a clean bill of health. She has been microchipped and started her vaccinations. If she has not had her 2nd vaccination before going to her new home, then she would need to be taken back to Elizabeth Smith's vets near Biggleswade for this to be done (The cost will be covered by Cats Protection)

As Purdy came in as a stray we cannot be 100% sure if she has been neutered, but the vet has shaved her side to see if we could see any evidence of her having an operation. A scar was found on her side which would indicate she has been spayed, but if in the unlikely event she does come into season in the future, Cats Protection would cover the cost of her being neutered.

Can you give Purdy a great start to 2018 by offering her a forever home?
