Featured Cat of the Week - Sophie

24 September 2018
Featured Cat of the Week - Sophie This week we are featuring the lovely Sophie who is searching for her very own loving forever home.

UPDATE 13/10/18 - SOPHIE IS STILL SEARCHING FOR HER OWN FOREVER HOME

Meet the lovely Sophie who is looking for a special family to adore her. Sophie is a pretty tabby, short-haired female, estimated to be approx. 3 years old.

She had been living as a stray & pregnant and we were so pleased to get her into foster care before she gave birth to her 3 kittens. Having successfully found loving homes for her kittens it is now Sophie's turn to find her forever home.

Sophie loves people and enjoys playtime and cuddles. Whilst she has not shown herself to be a lap cat she does like to sit next to you for a fuss. She would be happy to live with slightly older children 8+ years, but she would not want to share her home with other cats or dogs.

Sophie has been neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. While she was spayed we noticed a small lump on her head, so it was decided to remove this at the same time. The lump was sent away to find out what it was and unfortunately the outcome was that the lump was a form of cancer. Thankfully it has been removed and has healed well, so she is currently fit and well and does not need any medication or further treatment. Whilst she now has the best chance of going on to live a full, healthy and happy life, we are sure you will appreciate we cannot give 100% guarantee's that she won't have any further problems, but we would be happy to offer financial support for veterinary costs relating to her cancer should she need any further treatment in the future (a signed agreement detailing what costs we would cover will be supplied to the new owners)

The vet who has been treating her would be happy to discuss Sophie with any potential new owners and we will also be able to provide an information sheet.

Sophie is such a young and happy girl she really deserves that special home where she can enjoy life and hopefully forget the sad start she has had.

Do you have space in your home and your heart for this adorable girl?
