Homing Appeal for Adorable Mum and Son Duo
This gorgeous mum and son duo, Moonie and DJ, have now been in our foster care for 12 months and we are desperate to see this deserving pair find a new home.
Moonie is about 8 years old now, and is a black & white short-haired female, whilst her son DJ is about 5 years old and is a grey & white short-haired male. Together they make a stunning pair & will make great new family members.
Sadly their owner passed away and they found themselves in the very sad position of needing to find a new home. They have now been with us for 12 months and despite being loved & very well cared for, it will never be the same as being back in a warm loving home.
DJ is the more out going of the pair and loves fuss and attention and is sure to come and greet you when you visit. Moonie is a little more reserved, she is just saving herself for lap cuddles when she has moved into her new home.
Both cats have been neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. DJ should only eat wet food as he has had a couple of bladder infections (suspected to be caused by stress, so hopefully once in a new home & settled this should not be a problem). He also has a slight heart murmur, but again does not need treatment for this and his vet was not overly concerned. However, Cats Protection are happy to help with vets bills relating to either of these conditions if the need should arise in the future.
So, what sort of home are they looking for? Whilst Moonie is not too worried about going outside, DJ does enjoy being out and about exploring so outdoor access will be needed and in an area away from busy roads. They are not used to children so we would ideally like a new home for them where family members are teenagers or older. The home should have no other cats or dogs. If you have space in your heart and on your sofa for this adorable pair then please get in touch.
This mum & son duo have waited so long for someone to fall in love with them and take them home - please don't make them wait any longer and let's all help to find them their perfect forever home, we know their new family are out their somewhere, we just need to find them!
